eBay compatibility lists that are actually right.
Most UK buyers on eBay Motors shop with their car set. If your compatibility is missing, incomplete or wrong, they never see your listing — and when they do, the wrong ones buy it. We fix that at scale.
The problem with eBay fitment
eBay's item compatibility is powerful and unforgiving. It runs on eBay's own vehicle catalogue (ePIDs), which doesn't line up neatly with the K-Types your reg lookup uses or the model names in your supplier's spreadsheet. So compatibility gets built by hand, once, by someone who's since left — copied between listings, never audited, and quietly wrong for the facelift model.
The result: your listings are hidden from buyers filtering by vehicle, shown to buyers with the wrong car, or both. And every "doesn't fit" return knocks your seller metrics.
What we do
- Compatibility audit — every listing checked against your master fitment: missing compatibility, partial compatibility, wrong vehicles, listings where "universal" is doing a lot of lifting.
- K-Type → ePID mapping — built and maintained, so your website and eBay fitment agree and updates flow from one place. This is the bit nobody else wants to do.
- Bulk compatibility updates — via the eBay API or your listing tool. Thousands of listings, not one at a time.
- Multi-variation listings — sizes, colours, left/right, front/rear done properly with per-variation compatibility where it matters.
- Listing structure & item specifics — brand, MPN, OE numbers, placement, all filled so eBay's search and Google Shopping can use them.
- Stock & price sync — website and eBay from the same inventory, so you're not overselling on one and out of stock on the other.
- Ongoing maintenance — new products get compatibility as they're listed, and eBay catalogue changes get handled before they break anything.
Signs you need this
- Your eBay returns are mostly "doesn't fit" and you suspect it's not the customers
- New listings go up without compatibility because it takes too long
- Your website says one thing about fitment and eBay says another
- You've got a great product range and eBay sales that don't reflect it
- Someone once bulk-pasted a compatibility list to 500 listings and nobody's checked since
How it works
- Audit. Export your listings and compatibility. Compare to your master fitment (or build one — see fitment data). Report what's wrong, quantified.
- Map. Build the K-Type → ePID mapping for every vehicle in your range. This is the asset that makes everything else repeatable.
- Push. Bulk update compatibility, item specifics and structure. Verify against eBay. Fix the exceptions.
- Keep it right. A process for new products and catalogue changes, and a monthly check that nothing's drifted.
